Automatic Mastery Workflows

The Hi Rasmus platform allows you to quickly create and manage mastery workflows for targets. Targets follow a standard life-cycle. You or the trainer decides on which targets to start probing. But from here the platform can automatically move targets forward (or backward) based on your mastery criteria.

mastery-1

To manage your mastery criteria and automatic workflow, go to Settings > Programs > Workflows.

Click Add workflow to start working on your first automatic workflow. Give the workflow a name that is easy to understand when you will use it later. For example, you can call it "80% over 3 sessions" if that represents the mastery criteria you want to make a workflow for.

Probe

workflow1Here you will determine the percentage for mastery, across how many sessions, and if you would like a minimum number of trials.

Under advanced settings you can select what happens to your target after the probe phase.

1. If not mastered, the target can go to waiting, or to acquisition.

2. If mastered, the target can go to acquisition, mastered, or closed.

You can also select to automatically add a phase change line.

Acquisition

Next, you will specify the mastery criteria for targets that are in Acquisition.

workflow2

Here you will determine the percentage for mastery, across how many sessions, and if you would like a minimum number of trials.
Under Advanced Settings you can select the number of trials you would like it to be probed, and select to automatically add a phase change line.

You can add as many phases in acquisition as you would like, and you can change their names (Example:  Acquisition, Generalization)

Mastered

This backwards-moving workflow works opposite. If you use mass trial data then you select how many sessions to measure consistency across and what the minimum response rate should be to maintain the target in the mastered status. E.g. in this example we expect the child to respond independently on at least 8 out of 10 trials across the previous 3 sessions. If the child is responding successfully in less than 8 out of 10 trials for 3 consecutive sessions the target is moved back to Acquisition.

Auto-Open New Targets

If you would like to automate the opening of new targets in Waiting status, you can select the option shown here.

Specify the maximum number of targets within a program that you would like to have in acquisition at a given time.

Quick tip:

When setting up a Task Analysis program, you can choose to automatically open the first target in waiting (forward chain) or the last target in waiting (backwards chain).

Lastly, you can choose between Probe and Acquisition for the introductory status of a newly opened target.
