Editing Session Time and Activity Time
Understand the difference between an Activity and a Session.
Manager-level users and those with access to edit sessions and activities are able to change the times of users actions. Session Time and Activity Time have different functions; it is important to understand the difference when editing.
- Session Time Editing: Session Time is associated with the data collection for that particular session. For instance, if you are collecting rate data, its important that the Session Time is accurate as this will impact the graphing for that program.
- Activity Time Editing: Activity Time is associated with the times reflected on the note itself, which is connected to billing in a practice management system and times and duration in the activities reporting tab

User Privileges For Users to Edit the Session & Activity Times:
[Session]>>[Edit Session Data]
[Activities]>>[Reopen and edit activities]
NOTE: When activities are edited, the signatures will be removed, if you would like to preserve the signatures on the note, consider selecting [Preserve signatures when reopening/editing activities]
Steps to Editing Activity Times:
1. Navigate to the client's [History] tab or to the [Activities] tab under [Reporting].

2. Select the activity you would like to edit.
3. Click the 3 dots within the activity
4. Select [Reopen activity of editing]
5. A confirmation pop up will appear, select [Ok}
6. Click the 3 dots again within the activity
7. Select [Edit Activity]
8.Edit the [Start Time] and [End Time] as necessary.
9. Click [Save]

10. Click [Complete Session Notes]
11. Double-check your Session Times, select the next to last check mark at the top of the page.

12. Adjust the {Start Time] and [Finish Time] on this page if needed.
13. Click [Continue]
14. Click [Save Session Note]
15. If there are other activities within the session that need their times adjusted, follow the same steps.
Steps to Editing Session Times:
Session times are automatically updated when the activity time is updated. There can be more than 1 activity within a session for users who are using the hand-off feature, so if one activity is edited, the session time will reflect the total changes.
You can turn this option off if you prefer the session time to operate independently of the activity time.

1. Navigate to the client's [History] tab or to the [Activities] tab under [Reporting].

2. Select the activity of the session you would like to edit.
3. Click the 3 dots at the top right-hand corner between the [Session Name] and [x].
4. Select [Modify Session Time and Duration]
5. Edit the [Start Time] and [Duration] as needed

6. Click [Save]
How to view both original running session time and adjusted time:
If a session time has been adjusted, you can both the original time of the session and the adjusted time. The adjusted time will be the actual session time, but you can view both times within the activities. See video below:
