What is Geolocation?
Geolocation is the process of identifying the location of a device, such as a phone, tablet, or computer. Hi Rasmus uses geolocation to record where a session took place.

We capture geolocation at three key points:

  • Start of session

  • End of session

  • When collecting a signature

How to Enable Geolocation

For Hi Rasmus to capture geolocation, each user must allow location services on the device they are using.

  • On the web: Allow location services in your browser settings when prompted.

  • On the mobile app: Allow location access in your device’s app settings.

⚠️ Important: This must be done by each individual user. Managers or administrators cannot enable location services on behalf of staff.

If geolocation is not enabled, location information will not be captured for sessions.

How to View Geolocation Session Data

Once geolocation has been captured, you can find it in two places for a client's session:

  1. Client’s History Tab

  2. Reporting > Activities Tab

In either location:

  1. Click the [grey settings wheel] in the upper right-hand corner.

  2. Scroll down and select:

    • [Location (Start)]

    • [Location (End)]

  3. Click [Save]

The geolocation information will now appear for the start and/or end of your client’s sessions in either a client's [History] or the [Reporting] > [Activities] tab.

How to View Geolocation Signature Data
