# Importing Client Program Data
## Hi Rasmus currently supports program data import from some platforms
**NOTE:** Please keep in mind that imported program data may show up differently due to differences in file structure and platforms.
We do our best to ensure data can be imported from a variety of platforms, however we cannot guarantee that we support every file type from a platform.
**‼️IMPORTANT TIPS ‼️**
- Before importing data, make sure the program is already set up in Hi Rasmus.

- We also strongly advise [Setting Up Prompt Level Templates](https://help.hirasmus.com/knowledge/customizing-prompt-levels?hsLang=en) and assigning them to the Program to assist with accurate data mapping.
- Upon successful import, we recommend adding a[Phase line](https://help.hirasmus.com/knowledge/graph-annotations?hsLang=en) to all programs. This will aid in visual analysis and help differentiate historical data from current data.
### 📹Watch: Importing Client Data per Program
### Steps to Importing Client Program Data
1\. Select the Client's name from the drop-down list to access the client's home page.
2\. Select  from the navigation menu on the left
3. Select the three vertical dots next to the pencil icon on the program you wish to import data for.
‼️Reminder: The program you wish to import data for must *already* be created in Hi Rasmus, and an assigned Prompt Level Template is advised for each program.
4\. Select **\[Import Data\]**
5\. Select **\[Add Data File\]** and select the file from your computer
6\. Depending on the program type you will need to enter some mapping information such as the destination target OR create a new target
7\. You will also need to map the prompt levels from the file to the prompt levels set up in the program.
**Example**: If your data collection options for a program were: *Independent, Gesture, Model, Verbal, Physical, No Response*, then it is advised that you create a Prompt Level Template in Hi Rasmus that captures these exact data recording options. They will appear in a drop down menu to select from. Select the match for accurate data mapping.
8\. The historic data will now be visible for that program / target within the programs graphs.
- To view graphs, select on the left side navigation menu.
