Setting up Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) as a User
This article reviews how users can set up their Multi-factor Authentication for their Hi Rasmus user account and how to make change their MFA number
MFA is available for Hi Rasmus Premium and Enterprise organizations.
Setting up MFA for the first time if MFA is required

NOTE: Users have the option to set up MFA as SMS or an Authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, or Microsoft Authenticator.
Steps to Setting up MFA as a User if MFA is Required
1. After logging in you will be prompted to select the preferred MFA method: Authenticator or SMS.

Steps for Authenticator App
1. You will be prompted to scan the QR code or paste the secret key into your authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
2. Enter the Code

Steps for SMS
1. You will be prompted to enter a mobile phone number.

2. You will receive a text message with the verification code. Enter the verification code and select [Verify]

3. If you do not receive a code, select [Resend Code]
4. You can also switch your phone number at this point by selecting [Change Phone Number]
5. Every time you login to Hi Rasmus, you will be prompted to enter a verification code

Setting up MFA for the first time if MFA is not required
Follow these steps if you want to have MFA set up on your Hi Rasmus account, but it is not required by your organization.
1. From the navigation menu on the left side of the page select [Settings] >> [Account]

2. Select the tab titled [Multi-factor Authentication]

3. Select [Add Multi-Factor Authentication] to add MFA

4. You will be prompted to input your Hi Rasmus password

5. You will then be prompted to enter a verification code from either your authenticator app or SMS, this depends on which method you originally set up.
Authenticator:

SMS:

6. Enter the verification code and select [Verify]
7. If you do not receive a code, select [Resend Code]
8. Now, every time you login to Hi Rasmus, you will be prompted to enter a verification code
Making Changes to MFA
NOTE Users can change their MFA device / phone number at anytime, but access to the original verification method is required.
If a user loses access to their original verification method or wishes to have their MFA removed, another user with Manager level access will have to remove on behalf of the user.
1. From the navigation menu on the left side of the page select [Settings] >> [Account]

2. Select the tab titled [Multi-factor Authentication]

3. Select [Change] from the Green Banner to change your MFA number

4. Enter your Hi Rasmus password when it asks to verify your credentials

5. You will then be prompted to enter a verification code from either your authenticator app or SMS, this depends on which method you originally set up.

6. Once you enter the code and select [Verify] you will be prompted to select your preferred MFA method:
