Single Sign On: Setting up Microsoft SSO

Learn how to set up Single Sign On for your organization's Microsoft Account

NOTE: If you require Single Sign On for users in Hi Rasmus, you will not be able to also require Multi Factor Authentication through Hi Rasmus login. However, if SSO is required for a user, you can set up MFA through your organizations Microsoft account.

Setting up Microsoft Single Sign On

ℹ️ Only users with Manager level access within Hi Rasmus and Admin level access within your organization's Microsoft account will be able to complete all of the steps to set up single sign on.

1. To begin set up for your clinic navigate to [Settings] >> [Organization] >> [Authentication]

2. On the Authentication page you will see fields to enter your [Application ID], [Tentant ID] and [Tentant Name]. These will all come from your organization's Microsoft Account. 

3. To retrieve this information, open your Microsoft account and under "Azure Services" open [Microsoft Entra ID] 

4. On the "Overview" page you will find the [Tentant ID] and the [Primary Domain].

You will enter the Tenant ID into the field on the Hi Rasmus Authentication page labeled [Directory ID (Tenant ID)]

You will enter the Primary Domain into the field titled [Tenant Name]

5. To find the Application ID in Microsoft select [Manage] >> [App Registrations] from the side navigation menu.

Copy the [Application (client) ID] and paste it into the [Application ID] field in Hi Rasmus

6. Next you will copy the the Redirect URI from the Hi Rasmus Authentication page.

7. In Microsoft, select the App from the App Registrations page

8. Select [Manage] >> [Authentication] from the side menu.

  • Then select [Add a platform] and choose [Single Page Application].
  • Also check the box for [ID tokens (used for implicit and hybrid flows)]

You'll then be able enter the Redirect URI from Hi Rasmus.
