Creating Library Program Templates

Program templates help you streamline program creation by setting up standardized structures you can reuse across clients. Follow the steps below to create and organize your own library program templates.

Depending on your organizational setup, only certain users may have access to the Library.

For the best experience when creating templates, it’s recommended (but not required) to have the following already created:

Steps to Create a Program Template

  1. Navigate to [Library] on the menu bar.
  2. Select Add Program.
  3. Choose the New Client Program Template type you would like to set up.
  4. In the new program setup, give your template a Title (e.g., Behavior Reduction Frequency Template). 
  5. Select [Add tag...] and choose the appropriate tag for the program type (e.g., Behavior Reduction).


6. If you’ve created Custom Program Data Fields, scroll to the bottom of the page and select [Manage Fields].

  • From here, only select the custom fields that apply to this template type.

7. Confirm the [Measurement] type is correct. 

8. (Optional) Select the appropriate [Mastery Workflow]. 

9. You can preset a treatment area for program templates specific to this type.

    • If you leave it blank, make sure only the necessary program data fields are attached.  

10. Click the [Instructions] tab

11. Add details to the Program Data Fields as needed. 

11. Add any additional information into the [Instructions] section as needed.

12. Select the [Targets] tab

13. Enter targets and the target status if applicable.  


14. Select the [Data Recording] tab.

15. Select the appropriate [Prompt Level Template].


πŸ’‘ Pro Tip: For frequency or duration behavior reduction templates, preset the setting to automatically record β€œ0” if no behaviors occur during a session.

16. Select [Edit Graph Settings] to adjust the preferred data view if applicable.

  • For the Frequency Program Type, the graph will default to [Count] on the y-axis




17. Press [Save].

18. Select the box to the left of the new program template you created.

19. Select the red button [Move to Folder].

20. Choose the [Templates] folder.

21. Select [Move].

Your program template is now available for quick use when building new programs.


Viewing Your Program Templates

  1. Select Add New Program.

  2. The dropdown list of program types will show your Templates first.

  3. Select one of your saved templates.

  4. Continue creating the specific program from that template.
