Scheduling Set Up: Staff and Client Information Fields

Learn how Staff and Client Information fields can be set up to help determine client / staff scheduling matches.

 

⚠️ Note: In order for staff information fields to populate for a user, that user must have a premium staff profile license (formerly called staff licenses) added to their profile. For more details on setting up a staff profiles click here.

What do Staff and Client Information Fields Have to Do with Scheduling? 

  • Hi Rasmus scheduling offers several different ways to view both client and user schedules. Client and Staff Information fields can be used to filter information on the calendar, allowing you to easily see schedules for users that may or may not meet certain scheduling criteria. 
  • For example, you can create a custom client information field that specifies if the client has provider language requirements. If you also have a corresponding staff information field that specifies the languages a provider speaks, you can easily pull up all staff calendars that meet that client's language criteria. 
  • You also may want to consider utilizing Business Units for Clients and for Staff, which are also a filter option on the different calendar views. Click here to learn how to set up business units in Hi Rasmus.

🎗️Reminder: If a user doesn't have a staff profile set up, you won't be able to fill out staff information fields for them and any staff information filter criteria you set up will note apply to those users.
