Session Prototypes

How to standardize session names organization-wide

To create a session prototype, navigate to Settings > Sessions > Prototypes

From here, you will be able to add a prototype:

After clicking "Add Session Prototype", you will be prompted to provide a session name and even a message to therapists (*Note: any messages added here will be standardized across the organization when sessions are created with this prototype)

When you click on "More options...", you will have the option to adjust the session type, specify note templates, and limit session visibility.

Managers, Supervisors, and BCBAs can now go to the client's homepage and create a session with that prototype.

The above screenshot still allows an option to type a custom name of the session. If you want to remove this option, you can toggle strict session naming.

This will remove the option to type anything in the Session Name box.

PRO TIP! Toggling strict naming is beneficial for organizations that use an Integration. This will be helpful when utilizing session mapping.

Note: You can edit the name of already existing sessions with prototypes! Click the 3 dots at the right of your existing session > Edit Session > Save Session > Select from the dropdown
