Using Supervise Mode multiple times during one direct session

Learn about using Supervision Mode when multiple supervision sessions occur during one direct session

See this article for more information on Supervision Mode. This article shows the set up for the following scenarios:

1. Two or more supervisors are using Supervision Mode on the same direct session (e.g. supervising the same RBT)

2. The same supervisor uses Supervision Mode two separate times on the same direct session

These set up instructions will ensure all Supervision Program Notes correspond to the correct session.

Set up your Supervision Note Template:

Go to [Settings] - [Templates] - [Notes]
Open your supervision note.
Make sure you have a custom field with the Field Type as [Session Data Table], and check the box for "Supervisor Notes." For more information on setting this up, click here
On the Note Template settings, you can check the for "Show only the data collected by the user that is completing the note"
- Checking this will mean only the data taken by the staff during each supervisor's supervision session will show up in the session note

Completing Supervision Mode 2+ times on one session:

Supervisor 1:

Completes their Supervision session, using Supervise Mode as usual. Click here for more information about Supervise Mode
Finishes their session and completes their session note. The supervisee's session is still running
On the session note, the data table will show:
- The data from the direct session taken
  - This may be only the data taken during that supervision session, or all data from the direct session. This depends on the template settings (see above)
- The supervision program notes taken by that supervisor
On the session summary below the note, it will show:
- The direct session data from the full session
- Supervision notes with that supervisor's name

Supervisor 2:

*note: this could be a different supervisor - or the same supervisor, using Supervision Mode for the second time on one direct session

Completes their Supervision session, using Supervise Mode as usual. Click here for more information about Supervise Mode
Finishes their session and completes their session note. The supervisee's session is still running
On the session note, the data table will show:
- The data from the direct session
  - This may be only the data taken during that supervision session, or all data from the direct session. This depends on the template settings (see above)
- The supervision program notes taken by that supervisor
On the session summary below the note, it will show:
- The direct session data from the full session
- Supervision notes with for each supervisor, with their name indicating who wrote the notes

Tip: If you have your template set up to "Show only the data collected by the user that is completing the note" - and you click on the supervisor's activity, you will be able to see which trials were taken during that supervision session. Trials that are grayed out were not taken during that supervision period.
